Founded in 1904 by the Sisters of Notre Dame, Notre Dame Academy leads the way with exceptional opportunities in a faith-based community for young women in grades 7-12.
Notre Dame Academy is northwest Ohio’s only school to offer both IB (The International Baccalaureate) and AP advanced studies and gave over 15,000 hours of service in the local community, Appalachia, and Nicaragua.
Notre Dame Academy was the first, Catholic, all-girls school in Ohio and is the only school in Northwest Ohio to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) Program. The Class of 2017 had both Full Diploma and Certificate IB graduates and were awarded $17.5 million in scholarships. Currently, over 230 girls are involved in the program or on track to enter the program as either a Full Diploma or Certificate candidate.
