St. John’s Jesuit High School was founded in 1898 and re-established in 1965 as a four-year, college preparatory high school for young men.
SJJ leads the area in its number of National Merit Scholars over the last decade. Graduates are offered millions in college scholarships and grants. Donors have helped create an endowment that yields funds given annually in tuition assistance. More than half of the nearly 1,000 students who attend St. John’s Jesuit receive need-based financial aid.
St. John’s Jesuit is accredited as a college preparatory school by the State of Ohio, the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools, and the Jesuit Secondary Education Association.
St. John’s Jesuit High School is 50 minutes from the University of Michigan and 90 minutes from Notre Dame University.
